Green delight : Sicily, Italy

Like pretty much everything on the island, nature in Sicily feels like a savant mix: a bit of Italian spontaneous romanticism, a touch of middle-eastern opulence and of course a good dose of mediterranean rugged refinement.
At times foliage is generous and dark, revealing golden lemons as the sun shines, but when it gets rocky it’s a cactus parade, except olive trees are there too. Oh, and, it might be November, but that doesn’t mean there’s no flowers anymore, there’s still a few glorious bushes here and there, to make the arrival of autumn a little bit more glamourous.
I hear the countryside is multicolored in spring, damn, we’ll have to come back and see for ourselves.
