This is probably the right time to visit Palazzo Grimani, you know, to revive the flame.
When we went, there were fragments of an art show, but most of the rooms (which means a lot, these things are on the vast side) were blissfully empty. The muted colors, the vanishing frescoes, the melancholic hallways and the sun rays dancing between the showers…
This calls for some Chet if you ask me :
“I saw you last night and got that old feeling,
When you came in sight I got that old feeling,
The moment that you danced by, I felt a thrill
And when you caught my eye, my heart stood still”
