Viewed from our room at the Hotel Majestic
We’ve only spent a few hours in Ho Chi Minh City but, despite the jet-lag, I have a great memory of this particular view. As we were standing on our small balcony we were impressed by the contrast of the noisy city at our feet and the misty jungle we could see just on the other side of the river.
Needless to say that when sunset came we were simply blown away by those purple tones.
___________ Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam, it was called Saigon until 1976. The Hotel Majestic is one of its historic hotels, it was built in 1925 in French Colonial and classical French Riviera styles.
