Handwoven scarf and towels

There is a small shop, in a small street, in the white town of Ostuni that’s here to remind you how refined the Italians can be. Ceramics, linens, shawls: here everything is handmade and comes from the Southern Italian artisan tradition. Annalisa Surace, the designer behind the brand, is also  an architect, maybe that’s why it feels so modern? I could have bought the all store but I settled for two striped bath towels and a menswear inspired silk scarf.

The name of the brand is IJO, here’s the website for the home and the website for the scarves.
For those going to Ostuni here’s the address : 9-11 Via Francesco Cavallo.
