The view : Duomo di San Giorgio, Modica, Sicily, Italy

Overlooking most of the baroque town of Modica, the Duomo di San Giorgio looks like a beacon in the golden sun of the late afternoon. As the rest of the buildings slowly fade in the shadows, it remains in the light, glorious on the top of the impressive stairs. Standing in front of its elegant doors is well worth the hike up, so put on your walking shoes!
