Up until know, my love affair with Italy was overshadowed by a tiny detail. A tiny but crucial detail for a French girl.
Cakes and pastries.
They had a very hard time standing up to their French cousins (with a few exceptions of course, enough to keep our relationship afloat).
Then we came to Milan and everything was settled. We had enough excellent pastries in three days to make a new rule out of it: in Milan, both sweet and savory are swoon worthy.
So, have you seen this hazelnut beauty from A Casa Eatery? Almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
