The view : from Skeppsholmen island, Stockholm, Sweden

Walking through Stockholm you get a feeling of wide, functional streets framed by strong elegant buildings. That's why it's quite surprising to discover that, from a distance, the cityscape is looking so pretty, like a candy-colored town from a children's tale.

To take this picture I’m standing on the small island of Skeppsholmen, known for being the location of the Museum of Modern Art, and I’m facing the Gamla Stan neighborhood, the oldest in Stockholm.
