We've already established that I love markets of almost any kind. The downside of this passion is that I more than often get cold or wet while exercising it (hello British and Belgian markets!). That's where the LX Factory gets it pretty right, it's located in a former manufacturing complex that has a nice East London vibe to it, while having the great advantage of being in 25-degrees-in-October-Lisbon. The place is like a mini-neighborhood with cafés, restaurants, galleries, design studios and a Sunday open-air market featuring second hand stands and very appetizing local food products. It's rather small, but very pleasant, and I sincerely hope it will grow bigger!

It’s a little bit on the outskirts of Lisbon, but not a hassle to get too though, just take the tramway and get off at Alcantara-Mar. Once you’re there, you’re halfway to Belem, going there afterwards might be a good idea since the monastery is open on Sundays.

Love your travel photos, they are a real inspiration. I had one question, what do you use to edit your photos, vintage filters?
The Voyageur
@Yaminah Thanks! I use Sigma Photo Pro to process the X3F (Raw) files and then Photoshop.

Hi, I’d love to speak with you about potentially licensing some of your photos of LX Factory. I work at AFAR Travel Magazine based in California, and we’re including LX Factory as a high-light in an upcoming issue. Please email me and I’d be happy to explain further. Thank you!
