Evora may be the capital of the Alentejo, but it's hardly the beating heart of Portugal's street culture. Yet, as we ventured a little bit away from the historic center I started noticing these cool drawings on some blissfully not-so-impeccable doors and walls (which ain't so common, the Portuguese seem to love a fresh coat of paint!). I loved the naive look of the giant chalk patterns. Looks like Evora is pretty hip after all.
