There is a zoo in the middle of Paris, it’s one of the oldest ones in the world actually, it was created out of necessity when a law was passed to forbid showing wild animals on the street.
It’s a surprisingly nice place, and I’ll tell you more about it soon. But first, let’s take a minute to look at their snow leopard in all its glory.
The glass walls make it possible to stand only a couple of meters away from it, and I can tell you that it’s hard to look away, half terrified, half mesmerized by its beauty and the troubling feeling of contemplating another predator.

I didn’t make it to the zoo last time I was in Paris, but now I know they have a snow leopard I know I’ll have to go on my next visit.
