I loved how rudimentary and frail that beach looked from above, almost like a miniature model. The rocky seaside of Rhodes gives a curious air of survival to otherwise pretty common beach installations. Forced to adapt to the landscape, the fearless Rhodian beach-goer has to secure a stable spot for his sun bed, climb around to get in and out and brave the sizzling limestone.
