Feels Special : University of Brasilia, Brasilia, Brazil 2/2

Remember the pictures from the University ? Today’s selection is showing another side of that very inspiring campus, one of shadows, deep greens and worn-out concrete. It revolves around the incredible rectory building by Paulo Zimbres. It was build in 1972 and gives off a very different feeling than Niemeyer’s architecture, its complex structure that plays between outside and inside is way more rectilign and almost brutalist in comparison. It doesn’t have that “modernist eden” look yet I found it very impressive.

What a fantastic campus!
