As we explored by bike this little corner of Portugal we felt it was pretty unspoilt. I was constantly marveling at the richness of colors and shapes of the vegetation. The beach itself was quite a treat: almost desert and bordered by golden cliffs, and if you got tired of the sea you could always go to the salt lake nearby, the Lagoa de Albufeira.
_____________ The sea is beautiful, but remember, it’s the Atlantic Ocean, which means there’s a lot of waves and it’s pretty cold!
Sesimbra is the name of the area, but we were staying in Aldeia do Meco, in this bungalow.
