Tea served at Ali’s restaurant, in Siwa, Egypt.
The tea they serve in the Siwa Oasis isn’t your regular middle-eastern “mint tea” they put all kinds of herbs in it and, well, it tastes great! Our worst fear during our stay – well, maybe not “our worst fear” but anyway – was to be served a Lipton tea instead because we were tourists. I kept asking for “small tea” to be sure it didn’t happen!
One fun thing is that they always bring the platter with an extra glass, you know, in case someone drops by.
