The view : from the top of Sigiriya, Sri Lanka

Getting to the top of the Sigiriya rock is quite a hike, but since you get this view at the end, I guess we can agree that it is worth it. As soon as you set foot in Sri Lanka you get the feeling it's a very lush country, but when you see it from above it becomes even more real!

The pale green color you see on the lake in the middle is actually due to  water lilies, you can’t go anywhere in Sri Lanka without seeing them.
Sigiriya is a 200 meters-high rock and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
