I couldn't get over how gigantic the buildings were in Cairo suburbs. We spent our time sticking our cameras on the car windows to try and get a snap of them. I definitely have a conflicted relationship with car-traveling, we always end up passing places that we probably wouldn't even have seen otherwise, yet when you're not the one driving you can't really stop to take pictures at every turn, which makes the experience a little bit frustrating. In the case of Cairo suburbs, I feel they would definitely deserve a full photographic investigation that would not be conducted at 90km/h from the back of and old Volvo.
