In situ : Western desert, Egypt

Since deserts are always depicted like scorching hot places in the movies, it’s hard to fathom the fact that the temperature there can actually be quite pleasant, with a nice breeze to keep you cool and not necessary fearsome sandstorm-like winds.
In the picture above it was barely 25 degrees, in other words the kind of balmy heat that makes you look relaxed and not hassled by dehydration hallucinations!
