The good spot : Café Deadend, Hong Kong, China

We had some very good coffee in very nice places in Hong Kong. That was definitely one of the good surprises of the city.

Among all of them, the best to have breakfast was definitely the Café Deadend. It’s in this cool yet quiet part of Sheung Wan, slightly hidden away from street, right behind its sister bakery shop. The staff was particularly attentive, the atmosphere very relaxed and the coffee and the food excellent. The first time we went, I was sitting on the counter and I was in awe of how meticulously they were preparing everything. François even declared their french toast the best he ever had, so, that’s that!

They open rather early, a must for jet-lagged travellers!
