Green Delight : Trancoso, Brazil

Going to Brazil does provide excuses to take an infinity of plant shots. It is as varied and exuberant as you might expect it to be, hence with a graceful edge that I wasn’t fully expecting. And while in Sri Lanka it’s the leaves patterns that fascinated me the most, here in Brazil it’s the ridiculous abundance of flowers: grapes of them hanging from branches, trees covered in them and glorious giant ones rising from the ground. The color shock felt almost like a tropical cliché, but we were soon forced to realize that the tv-version of the tropics with people drinking from coconuts, warm waterfalls and multicolored vegetation somehow had quite a bit of truth to it.
