I hereby propose to rename Sri Lanka ” the Isle of the many leaves”. How could such a small island have such a vast repertoire of shapes when it comes to foliage? Exotic often equals colorful flowers, but here there is much to say about the spotted, striped, shiny and cut out vegetation all around you. It’s like no expense was spared to make every corner a unique composition, making a vast garden of wilderness. Or is it the other way around?
